Dr Farrah Collins is a Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She holds a BSc honours degree in Psychology and a doctorate in Counselling Psychology. She works from a relational stance, placing the therapeutic relationship at the very core of her practice, research and training. She draws upon a range of therapeutic approaches including; Person-Centered approaches, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Having worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, both in the public and private sector, Dr Farrah Collins has a breadth of experience. She has worked within the National Health Service in sexual health services, drug and alcohol services and working with those with long term mental health issues. She has also worked within the community based young people's services and women's services. She is currently managing and implementing a counselling service within a secondary school and seeing clients privately.
Dr Farrah Collins has had a varied range of experience and subsequently is able to work with clients with diverse presenting problems.
